A major release focused on security, administration, and new uses

We are pleased to announce the release of Minarca 6.2.0, a new version that marks an important milestone in the evolution of the solution, both on the server and client sides.

This release brings highly anticipated features, concrete improvements for everyday use, and further enhances the platform's reliability and maintainability.

Increased control for administrators (Server)

User management takes a big step forward:

Deletion of user accounts, with or without their data.

Improved performance and compatibility

This version also emphasizes robustness:

  • Faster loading of user deposits thanks to caching.
  • Update of supported platforms, including recent versions of Ubuntu and Debian.
  • Thorough cleaning, with the abandonment of obsolete technologies and the updating of dependencies and end-of-life platforms.

The result: a healthier, more modern, more stable, and easier-to-maintain foundation.

New experimental client-side feature: IMAP backup

Minarca 6.2.0 introduces a highly anticipated new feature:

Backing up email accounts via IMAP (minarca imap-backup)

  • Compatible with Microsoft and Google, including OAuth support.
  • Designed to simplify the protection of business emails.

Simplified user experience and deployment

Numerous improvements make Minarca even more enjoyable to use:
